Nature, music and culture. Here’s the perfect mix of the first edition of “Sicily Music Village” from 12 to 15 August 2011 within the charming equipped area and farm holidays Ventura Valley in Scicli (Ragusa).

The most anticipated event of the summer will highlight the beautiful area of Ragusa, extolling, in the meantime, the proverbial hospitality of the Hyblaeans people. At the “Sicily Music Village” you will find it interesting the fascinating experience of the contact with nature and the other people. A discovery of the places and traditions of the enchanting Hyblaean territory within a beautiful landscape dominated by green and accompanied by the rhythms of a careful selection of music, created by artists of national and international level, for a no stop music with more than 100 DJs and 30 live concerts. A village of peace and relaxation, but also of parties and fun.

Event feature is its eco-sustainability. It’s in fact launched a positive message of respect and protection of the environment by spreading the culture of recycling and separate collection. Each one of the participants can have fun through a series of workshops, seminars and initiatives that awaken public opinion to environmental problems. They will be tempted to respect the place through the awards of "differentiated" deserving. There will be music, culture, environment and the chance to embark on a wine-and-food trail and taste the Sicilian flavours in a perspective of marketing to "km 0". Inside, the village includes different areas: camping, barbecue, farm holidays, shows. Guests can explore the surroundings and discover the beautiful golden sandy beaches that can be reached by taking the shuttle bus. This service is active 24h a day for those who, from the sciclitano district, intend to reach the festival without using the car.

It’s the project "safe driving": avoiding travel by car, just take the shuttle bus stops where you will be able to comfortably return having witnessed at concerts or other activities, thus avoiding driving.
